Backlogs,
Starting from the most recent to older stuff haha
Was supposed to go Canto restaurant last Sunday using our $120 voucher
BUT...
Miss val's mom was suddenly angry her kids never celebrate Mother's Day with her and demanded to have one on SUNDAY AFTERNOON
And after lots of fertile comparing schedules and me giving useless suggestion (reminder to self, STOP trying to ask hl to change her schedule for us, cos it WONT ever happen, yup, at least she felt bad enough to apologize). the final decision is to waitttt agaainnnn. sigh
Anyway, end up me and jamie went to 12 cupcake at United Square
cos we were both super sian and didnt wanna spend a precious sunday at home..

I had a Red Velvet and a PB Choc cupcake.. it's nice! but somehow the frosting is nicer than the cake itself..
is it supposed to be that way? i think i prefer the PB choc more
haha cos i'm a hardcore peanut butter fan =p but red velvet is light and savory, and its the best seller so.. ya it's gd =p
me with red velvet.. haha I nvr take pic with the PB one cos it just doesnt look as cute as the red velvet.. come on, this one has a heart shape on it *aww*
O ya, i'm wearing my newest dress addition ^^ got this white crochet dress from MISSYPIXIE, a reseller actually cos i keep, KEEEP MISSing their launch and restocks and this got snapped up so fast ): anyways, this dress is soo comfy and airy! I can totally see myself wearing it to work in future =p
haha MIMI! this girl damn pro, working at Keppel now.. the bonus at Keppel is to die for!! last year they got 8.1months bonus!!! like seriously, tt is the amount some people earn in a year pls.. Got chance i also wanna apply there and work.. haha but i'm pretty worried about my thesis grades and how it will affect my CAP. sighh
Sat and talked and watched HIMYM for a few hrs then had Ramen at MARUTAMA!
love, love, LOVE the egg <3 outside hardboiled, inside soft and runny <3
other than that, the broth is thick and I love the thin ramen noodles ^^ i find they absorb the taste of the broth better than thick ones
the pork is rather too fat for my liking and is pretty pathetic, being a single piece and the meat portion is small tho tender..
The broth was rather overpowering towards the end and it was rather oily so i didnt drink much of the broth.. haha overall, i would say Holland V's Yoshimaru (also thin ramen noodles) is better but this is not bad too hahas
us with the bowls. Mimi's eyes open till damn big here LOL
and then had to go back home alr, cos mimi had to slp at 1030 to wake up in time for work on monday. Guess u get paid the money, you must pay the price too haha

went to work at Valentino, and all the aunties and uncles keep telling me
"So skinny, must eat more"
wah, hear already super happy can, although i keep saying "where got"
hahhaa, I know myself la, still more than 100% and recently i notice my thighs got damn alot of cellulite =.=
but happy to hear all these la hahah
after that went to meet up with Val, Sharon and Mimi at Bedok
went to buy some ingredients to make... drumroll pls..
BUDAECHIGAE (not sure if i spelled it correctly)
Val's dad drove us back to their pretty and big Semi-D house..
brings back memories, the last time i was there, my ex dumped me on the same day. hais. dont think abt it dont think abt it >_<
haha had a fun time making the budaechigae (: for those who dont know, it's meant Army Stew in korean and basically koreans throw all the meat and leftover food in to make it for the army people (:
I washed the mushrooms and cut the meat!
For ours, we put
1) Spam
2) Luncheon Meat (whats the diff btw the two?)
3) Cheese Sausages
4) long mushrooms
5) tofu
6) cabbage
7) Marinated Radish
8) Chicken Stock
9) some Spring onions
10) korean ramyeon (+their seasoning powder)
11) lots and LOTS of kimchi sauce i think
and lastly, we FORGOT TO BUY TOK :(( but the taste turned out pretty good (: saro and mimi keep complaining too salty but budaechigae supposed to be on the heavy taste one! I insist we did a good job!
ready to eat! us and val's parents all gt to eat
mimi keep saying " it's basically eating maggi mee which is super salty"
we asked val's dad, and he also didnt think it's too salty. haha!
kx best, she arrive when we almost done eatin! claimed she overslept and got lost so she was so late. tsktsk.
after tt was a long session of talking about work.. mimi told us funny stories of the blanglas who work at keppel and rush to canteen to eat once the bell rings and how they sleep everywhere after eating haha
and of cos is mahjong time and we didnt bother to take much pictures cos we're all so cui haha seriously old alr, went to slp at 4am haha at least i managed to win $1 overall, so means my skills got improve =D

ok, before that sat, went to 2d1n on thurs for korean bbq with ID peeps! all pics kope from Ruth =p
nice pic of us koped from Ruth! of cos the actual bbq place not this nice looking one, but entrance is beside it and must climb up to lvl 2. inside hot and no aircon =.= it's actually a $3 cheaper than e outlet at chinatown..
haha q sad, there's no more rice water to drink but the meat was pretty good and satisfying..
super sian thing is the smoke keep blowing at me and sil's direction =.= i seriously dunno how sil stand it with her long jacket which i kept expecting her to take off at some point but she never did.. respect for her man!
even nana also took off her cardi! haha ruth is the most aptly dressed one!

haha after tt, saw a LOTTE mart opp and quickly went in!! haha for people who dunno, it's a big and popular company in Korea named after the founder's wife, CharLOTTE! I love the food under this brand, always super nice de! and I also went to their themepark, which is Lotte world =p
anyways, we got ourselves nice and cheap korean ice creams there ((: and then we went to nearby award winning HDB Pinnacle!
Had alot of fun in their high tech playground haha like seriously high tech le!

walao this one got no tech but super scary once two people got up on it and sit down. will keep spinning and spinning and SPINNING till no end one. Me and christina didnt know this and were literally screaming for help while ruth and sil were laughing their heads off with no intention to save us )):
got alot of these nice wooden structures around the park and we tried to act model-y inside. there was even one which we suspect the lights spoil and an indian couple was inside doing-dunno-what.
took lift up to try our luck with sky garden cos heard the scenery v nice from lvl 50.. but alas, need money one =.= we refused to pay. how can you expect money for something which should have been public?!
after this walked super long to get to a bus stop and go home.
