MTV story / 4:52 AM
came back from thai for abt a wk liao. but i still cant forget this really nice MTV which i watched in thai. it was a Cantonese song. the starting of the MTV might be v common, but the development n ending r really sad. yupp, wanna share tis lovely story wif all my friends. tis is my version of the story, i've missed parts of the MTV so i'll be adding in my own salt n pepper :) hope u lik the story as much as i i did :) sadly, i've forgotten wad's the song title n the singers' names. it's a guy gal duet. the singers r not popular but the MTV's really pop i heard in hong kong. kk, here's the story, pardon my grammar n spelling mistakes :) my language is really simple too :)
sharon n joey were happily in love until sharon suddenly fell ill.
sharon's illness was incurable n the doctors told joey n sharon's family that only a miracle could save her. joey was devastated n he went to the chapel daily, praying for sharon's recovery. no matter rain or shine, he would always make time to company sharon n go the chapel to pray.
one day, he finally got an answer from the above. he heard a gentle voice n saw a blinding light while praying in front of mother mary. the gentle voice was that of mother mary's. she said to him," sharon will soon leave the world. however, you can prevent this by changing into a dragonfly for 3 years. at the end of 3 years, u will return to ur human form. r u willing to change into a dragonfly to save sharon's life?" without a doubt, joey agreed. light surrounded him n when it faded, what stood in joey's place was a little green dragonfly.
from then onwards, sharon nvr saw joey again.nobody did. as if by miracle, sharon gradually recovered from her illness and was soon discharged from the hospital. a little green dragonfly accompanied her out. sharon soon met another man called david. hanging on to joey's love, sharon tried hard to resist david's rapid fire chasing but failed. joey soon fade away from her memory n from her heart, replaced by david. she was happy and a little green dragonfly seemed to follow her everywhere, urging her to accept david's love n be happy.
3 long years finally passed. and it was the wedding day of david n sharon. the little green dragonfly was there, hovering near sharon. nobody saw the little green dragonfly's humane tears amidst the merry music n laughter.
mother mary asked the little green dragonfly," do u regret ur decision? do u want to change back into a human?"
"no, let me remain as a dragonfly forever" was the reply unheard to all but mother mary n joey.
